How to delete a category
Delete from the row action or bulk-select. Tagged rows fall back to Unknown.

To delete a category in Extrack, open the Categories page, tap the category, tap Edit then Delete. Or use the checkbox to bulk-select rows and tap "Delete…" in the bottom action bar. The system "Unknown" category is auto-excluded from any bulk delete. Transactions tagged with a deleted category lose the tag and roll up under "Unknown" instead.
Steps
Single delete
Tap the category → Edit → Delete. Confirm.
Bulk delete
Use the checkboxes in the left column to select multiple rows. The bottom action bar shows "Clear" and "Delete…". Tap "Delete…", confirm in the dialog.

Where do the transactions go?
Anywhere that category was tagged, the tag drops. Transactions still exist; they just become uncategorised (rolled up under "Unknown" until you assign a new category).
Can I delete "Unknown"?
No. It is a system category, protected from delete (auto-filtered from any bulk selection).
