How to rename a person (and merge duplicates)
Edit person → change Name → save. Renaming to an existing name merges.

To rename a person in Extrack, open the People page, tap the person, tap Edit. The "Edit person" modal description reads: "Renaming updates how this person appears in your directory. Transaction links use their id and stay attached." Change the Name and save. If the new name matches an existing directory entry, validation surfaces the duplicate so you can choose to merge.
Steps
Tap the person on the People page
Opens the person activity page.
Tap Edit
Opens the "Edit person" modal.
Change Name and save
Rename propagates to every tagged transaction immediately.

Rename one entry to match the other exactly — validation detects the duplicate and gives you the option to merge.
