Free = read-only. Premium = writes. VIP = + Automation inbox / MCP.

Extrack has three plans. Free gives 7 days of full VIP access; a payment method is required to begin, no charge today, first charge on day 7, cancel anytime — after which, if you cancel, it drops to read-only — view your ledger but no new writes. Premium ("Premium — Full app access, reports, and exports — about a chai a day.") unlocks writes. VIP ("VIP — most popular: Everything in Premium plus unlimited recurring, full history, time-scoped reports.") adds the Automation inbox / Claude MCP integration. See /plans for current pricing.

- Free — view-only after trial. Reads forever. Download backup. Restore from backup.
- Premium — every Free feature + writes (add/edit/delete transactions, accounts, categories, budgets), reports, exports.
- VIP — every Premium feature + unlimited recurring, full history, time-scoped Reports (12-month window), Automation inbox / Claude MCP.
The 7-day trial
Every new account gets 7 days of full VIP; a payment method is required to begin, no charge today, first charge on day 7, cancel anytime. If you cancel before day 7, the account drops to Free (read-only) — existing data stays accessible; only new writes are blocked.

Does Premium get the Claude MCP integration?
No. The Automation inbox (MCP) is gated by the `automationInbox` capability, which is on VIP and the 7-day VIP trial only.
Can I downgrade VIP → Premium?
Open Profile → Plan & billing → View plans. From /plans you can switch plans.
