How to remove a budget cap
Open the cap modal, tap Remove.

To remove a budget cap in Extrack, open the Budgets page, tap the cap card (overall: "Edit overall"; per-category: tap the cap value), and use the Remove action inside the modal. Confirm. The cap is removed; the category moves back to "Uncapped categories" (or the overall card returns to its empty state with the "Set overall budget" button).
Steps
Open the cap modal
Tap "Edit overall" for the overall cap, or tap the cap value on a per-category row.
Tap Remove
The modal's Remove button. Confirm. The cap is removed.
Frequently asked
Will past months still show the cap?
Past months preserve the cap that applied then, for historical fidelity. Forward from this month, no cap.
