How to create a planned item

Tap "New planned" on the Planned page. Scheduled date in the future.

To create a planned item in Extrack, open the Planned page and tap "New planned". Fill the regular transaction fields (kind, amount, accounts, categories, people) plus a scheduled date. Save. The row appears on the Planned page under "Upcoming" until the date arrives, then moves to "Due (scheduled ≤ today — ready to post)". Use "Post" on the row to push it to the ledger.

Steps

  1. Open Planned and tap "New planned"

    Top-right button. Opens the regular transaction form, scoped to creating a planned row.

  2. Fill in kind, amount, accounts, category, people, scheduled date

    Same fields as a regular transaction. The scheduled date must be today or in the future for the row to behave as planned.

  3. Save

    Row lands on Planned. Under "Upcoming" if the date is future, under "Due" if today.

What if the planned item never happens?

Tap Delete on the row from the Planned page. Removed permanently.

Can I edit a planned item before it is posted?

Yes — tap Edit on the row. Change any field, save. See "Edit a planned item".
